Timberlake is a subdivision in Chapin, SC located along the shores of Lake Murray. It is just minutes from Irmo, SC about 25 minutes from downtown Columbia, South Carolina’s capital city.

The subdivision was founded in March of 1987 and currently has 321 home sites. There are many smaller neighborhoods within the subdivision including Club Pointe, Fairway Oaks, Fairway Ridge and Plantation Summit. Typically Timberlake houses have large home fronts. There are both golf course front and lake front homes available.

The beautiful Timberlake Golf Course, which is the only golf course on Lake Murray, meanders throughout the neighborhood. Free docking makes it possible for residents to come by boat to enjoy a game of golf. The subdivision also houses the Timberlake Country Club.
